Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service through our website, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from booking our services.

Booking and Confirmation

  • Booking a service online does not immediately confirm your requested date/time. We will contact you via email or phone to confirm your appointment.
  • A $70 deposit is required to secure your cleaning date and time, which is non-refundable but will be deducted from your total cleaning fee.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to secure jobs for our cleaners and manage scheduling efficiently.
  • The $70 deposit becomes a cancellation fee if you fail to notify us 24 hours prior to your appointment. For rebooking, a new deposit is required.
  • Clients can reschedule their cleaning appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, up to a maximum of 5 times. Exceeding this limit will result in the forfeiture of the deposit as a cancellation fee.

Cleaning Crew

  • Our teams usually consist of two cleaners, but more may be assigned based on the job’s complexity or schedule.
  • All our employees undergo thorough background checks and drug testing for your peace of mind.

Right to Refuse Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, weapons on premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities.
  • Our cleaners have the right to leave if they deem the condition of the home unsanitary or feel unsafe. In such cases, the cancellation fee will apply.

Cleaning Day Preparation

  • Please ensure easy access to cleaning areas by tidying up beforehand. If you prefer our cleaners to perform these tasks, contact us in advance for adjusted pricing.

  • Eco-friendly products
  • Interior window cleaning
  • Detailed cleaning of blinds, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, oven, fridge
  • Pet hair removal
  • Mold/Mildew removal in showers and tubs
  • Mattress cleaning
  • Garage and patio cleaning
  • Carpet washing


  • We accommodate pets during cleaning but request limited indoor activity for efficiency and safety. We reserve the right to remove our staff if pets pose a safety concern.

Service Fees

  • Prices may be adjusted based on actual home conditions. We will inform you of any changes prior to starting the service.


  • Payment is due on the day of service by check, cash, or credit card.

Refund Policy

  • While we do not offer refunds, we commit to rectifying any service issues reported within 24 hours of the cleaning.

Recurring Service Discount

  • Discounts for recurring services apply after the first cleaning. Skipping cleanings may result in a price increase to match the lower frequency.

Rate Increases

  • Rates may be adjusted due to changes in service frequency, home conditions, or annual increases not exceeding 8%.


  • A $70 fee applies if we cannot access your home at the scheduled time. To avoid this, provide a key or access code.

Alarm and Vacuum Use

  • Please disable alarms or provide codes. If you request using your vacuum, we are not liable for any damage to the unit.

Cleaning Supplies

  • We provide all necessary equipment and products. If you prefer your supplies, please have them ready.

Items We Cannot Clean

  • We do not clean hoarding homes or areas with hazardous materials.

Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy

  • We exercise care but are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear. Report any incidents within 24 hours.

Cleaners Arrival Window

  • We schedule efficiently but allow for flexibility due to unforeseen circumstances.


  • We observe major holidays and will reschedule services falling on these days.


  • For security, we recommend a lockbox for key storage. We are not liable for unsecured homes.


  • Please refrain from directly hiring our employees.

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the state where MaxShine Cleaning Solutions operates.

Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
